Parkway Pet Resort
started operation in 2004, by Jeff Greer, a retired engineer and
dedicated pet lover. The design for the resort was contemplated and
refined after formal training and several facility visits. The
intention was to build a state of the art boarding facility, but the
result has been better. While the resort was
constructed to provide the dogs comfort (state of the art enclosures,
windows in each suite with raised beds, large grassed exercise areas and
climate control) human attention was what they really wanted. The
exercise routines were adjusted and the result has been what most dogs
feel is an exciting experience. Almost all dogs enjoy their stay and
it has been very rewarding to see their excitement to return. Many
clients say their dogs get very excited when they get to the stoplight
on US 98, because they are getting to come to the resort.
We know that you have
many choices for boarding your pets and we strive to maintain the best
facility available. The health and comfort of your pet are important to
us. The boarding and common areas are kept impeccably clean and the
enclosures are fully sanitized. Bedding is provided so that it can be
laundered and sanitized every day. Treats are given after each outing. Routines are kept the same and predictable for the animals…they know
what is going to happen before it happens . Dogs are taken out very
early in the morning (usually between 5:00 am and 6:00 am) and are taken
out fairly late (no earlier than 8:00pm, but usually about 9:00pm.) We
do everything possible to make your pets stay as comfortable and
enjoyable as possible.
Additionally, we
provide many additional services and can accommodate many special
requests. We have a Hydro Surge bathing set up that allows us to bathe
your dog much better than is possible at home. Webcams are provided in
the large suites so that you can see how comfortable your dog is. The
site is tended to during the night (the owner sleeps here) and the
animals are comforted by the continuity that is provided. |
